Somerset Studio
Four journal pockets, created from Somerset Studio magazine’s Artist Papers, along with my own pink asterisk diamond surface design, were spotlighted in the Aug/Sept/Oct 2026 issue. Also included were my “how-to” instructions and templates.

Mixed Media Self Portraits
A series of art quilt self portraits and the story accompanying them are showcased in this outstanding book by Cate Prato. My series is featured in the Art Therapy section, pages 16-25.

Dreaming of Fashion
My art quilt “Dreaming of Fashion” was the winner of the Quilting Arts “What If?” challenge, issue 58. The quilt explores my childhood desire for a creative career in New York and uses my original fabric designs.

Two of my most recognized Affirmation Necklaces were included in the Jewelry & Adornments section of Uppercase Magazine, issue 66.

First Time Published!
I screamed for joy one morning in 2006 when Patricia Bolton, Founder & Editor of Cloth Paper Scissors, called to say they were publishing an article I had submitted. The article—three pages with writing and art—dealt with how I manage anxiety and stress through my art.

Little U
Quirky paper dolls are a passion of mine. A group of dolls with the face of my Maltese, Coco, along with a cross-legged meditating doll, was featured in Little U children’s publication.

Stencil Contest
My spiral stencil, and the artwork created with it, appeared in the May-June 2016 issue of Cloth Paper Scissors. It strengthened my courage as designer. I joined StencilGirl’s creative team for several years, then submitted my own stencil designs to them; my first collection debuted in July 2020.

Quirky Showgirl
This fun paper doll was included in issue 58 of Uppercase Magazine for their “Whimsy” section. The doll parts swivel on mini-brads and fold up neatly into a little antique armoire.

Eye of Panic
My art quilt Eye of Panic, was showcased in the juried show Sacred Threads. It was published in several places, including Machine Quilting Unlimited magazine, and the books Quilts in the Attic and Quilts and Health.

Just Mixed Media!
Volumes 1-4 of Just Mixed Media featured many pages of my creations: art journal pages, paper dolls, a handmade journal, artist trading cards, paintings, and tags. These are a few of my favorites.

Two of my most visually inspiring quilts, “Pantihose & the Pope” and “Broken Chakra Girl”, were included in 1000 Artist Journal Pages.

My four-page, step-by-step “how-to” article on making a folding Artist Trading Card doll was published in Scrap & Stamp Arts, October 2016.

Just Swap Art!
Volume 1, 2016 featured an amazing three pages of my Artist Trading Cards, two pages of tags, and a set of upcycled Tyvek inchies.
