I recently looked at a baby picture of myself—I was about two years old—and the words “the baby wants crayons” popped into my head. Whether drawing, painting, working with fiber, making jewelry, or stitching clothing, art has always been the place I am drawn to, the place where I feel most like myself, most at home, most balanced and most creative.
